Rules

1. Must respect officials, fans, and each other.
2. Teams are guaranteed 9 regular season games and 1 playoff game.
3. 20 minute halves (stop time)
4. Each player gets 6 fouls, technical fouls count as personal fouls.  2 technical fouls and the player is out of the game.
5. Teams are allowed 3 full timeouts.  If game goes into overtime, teams will receive 1 extra full timeout.  Regulation timeouts will carry over to overtime if team has any left.
6. Overtime games will be 3 minutes.
7. Halftime will be 2 minutes.
8. Dunking is allowed; hanging on the rim, however, will result in a technical foul, unless player is protecting himself (official’s call).
9. Fighting will not be tolerated!!!  If you fight you will be kicked out of the league.
10. Swearing will not be tolerated; it will result in a technical foul (officials call).
11. Games will start promptly, if a team can’t field a team at start of game teams will be allowed to pick up a player (1 max), but only if both teams agree on it.  If teams can’t agree on player or team can’t field a team it will result in a forfeit.  Team captains are responsible for getting enough players to the game.
12. There will be a $70 forfeit fee assessed to a team for a forfeit.  Forfeits are any no shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before game time.  Teams will not be allowed to play the next week until the forfeit fee is paid.
13. Final rosters due by 2^nd game (December 16^th), no changes can be made after that.  No exceptions. 
14. Must play in 5 out of 9 of the regular season games to be eligible for playoffs.
15. All games will be played on Sunday’s at NMH-Northfield campus (Meany gym). 
16. Playoffs start February 10^th.
