houses two 60 x 30 yd. Field Turf™ playing fields.
Our fields are lined, not

Jeff Coulson
President / Director of Lacrosse

Jeff Coulson is the founder and owner of Indoor Action Sports.
Coulson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio
Wesleyan University, and his
Masters Degree from Antioch New England. Jeff has been
involved in playing and coaching lacrosse for over 30 years.
He is currently an active player for the OWU Legends in the
Super Grand Masters Division. Coulson developed IAS in 1995
with the building of the dome facility in 1999. Jeff has coached several IAS select boy's lacrosse teams since
1995 and continues to have IAS select teams represented in
events from Lake Placid, NY to Vail, CO. In 2005
Jeff created "The Coaches' Eye, " a new venue for high school athletes to create a
personal profile and put video on display for all college coaches to
have access to. Jeff has also created lacrosse showcases that
have been instrumental in assisting athletes gain exposure to
many colleges. Jeff and his wife Betsy reside in Gill, MA.

Brooks Johnson Director of Women's Lacrosse

Brooks Johnson joined the IAS staff in 2003.
Johnson earned his Bachelor of Arts in History &
Politics from Salve Regina University in 1999. While at
Salve, Brooks was a member of the Ice Hockey Team and
Goalie with the inaugural Men's Lacrosse Team.
Johnson also served as Assistant Coach of Women's
Lacrosse at Keene State College from 2002 – 2006. Brooks
has been coaching IAS
women’s lacrosse for 5 seasons and has taken his team all over
the Northeast. Brooks is husband
to Emily Johnson, Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Marywood
University in Scranton, PA and proud Dad of Freeman. |

Lynn Hoeppner Director of
Field Hockey

Lynn Hoeppner joined IAS in 2003 and has greatly developed the
program to include the institution of the IAS select team, competing
in regional and national venues. Lynn attended
North Adams State College where she was a key defensive player, and then
went on to receive her Associates degree from Champlain College, where she
also served as Assistant Coach. Lynn also played for the VT state club team and
has coached high school field hockey for
8 seasons. Her 2001 Mohawk Reg. team was Western MA DI champs and in 2006
she led Team West to the silver at the Bay State Games.
Lynn and her husband Ken have two daughters, Olivia and
Madeline who are avid field hockey players and they all
reside in Shelburne Falls, MA. |

Angelo Thomas
Director of Basketball

Angelo Thomas has joined the staff at IAS to develop and
institute new basketball teams, leagues and tournaments,
clinics, and individual workouts. A graduate of
Greenfield high school, Angelo capped off his career as
Western MA player of the year, Greenfield's all time leader in
wins, points, rebounds and blocks. Thomas was named to the All
State and All America team as well as earning a Division I
scholarship to University of Maine. Upon completion of
college Angelo was contracted to play professionally in the European
Basketball league. Angelo has coached at the college level
as well as high school at Kolbe
Cathedral and Notre Dame in CT. Thomas is co-founder of
DRIVE Hoops, which focuses on creating better players
and people through clinics and workouts. Angelo resides in
Greenfield, MA. |
