Words of Praise
"I would like to thank you and your
courteous staff for making our family's college recruiting
experience, one of the most fulfilling things that I have gone
through. Your clear direction, concise leadership and overly
cordial nature made this process of searching for a college seem
almost simple for me, his father... Colleges lined up to recruit
Tim, and thankfully, you and your staff were there every step of
the way, answering every question and giving advice as needed."
- Shawn, IAS Select Parent
Evaluations can also be scheduled during IAS League and
Tournament dates.
Our mission is to provide boys and girls the
opportunity to compete in lacrosse while developing their skills,
confidence, and experience. We work with every player to help them
meet their personal goals. We provide the tools, experience, and
exposure they need to play at the collegiate level of their choice.
While our teams are very competitive, our primary focus is on the
skill and character development of our players.
Not every player is destined for Syracuse or Virginia. Understanding
that, we work with our players to help them achieve success at every
level. By providing our teams with high level competition our
players will develop the skills and confidence that will make them
standouts at any level.
The IAS Select Lacrosse program has players of all ages
participating from all over the country. IAS Select affiliates with
other Select and Elite programs at different times in order to
permit more opportunities for our players. Teams are for boys &
girls, men & women, depending on the event. Players are invited to
participate in this program through recommendations or by having
been seen and met by the IAS staff. The main criteria are that a
player desires a higher level of competition, is a team player, and
wants to learn. Players are informed of various events and can
choose according to their schedule and budget. The Select teams
operate in the summer, fall and winter, traveling to different
venues that offer superb levels of competitions. Players gain
experience and exposure that hopefully helps them take their game to
the next level. Most importantly our staff works year round to
promote our players and work with each family on an individual basis
to provide guidance through the entire college recruitment and
admissions process.
As you look
toward college, and think about which travel to play for
over the summer, it is important to do Due Diligence and
ask questions. Sometimes programs that appear to be a
great bargain, actually cost more in the end. You want
to be sure you know what you are getting.
IAS Select has been around for a long time, and is one
of the few to offer both payment plans and outright
scholarships through the non-profit Sports for Life
Foundation. No player is ever turned away for financial
reasons. While the cost is relatively low compared to
many club teams, the IAS offers tremendous value added.
IAS also offers Men's and Women's tournament teams to
play on once a player moves on from the high school
team.

We follow the philosophy that player development in the
off-season is the most important aspect of playing with
a travel team, not just winning. ALL players are
encouraged to excel, and ALL players get equal playing
time. We also believe that college choices need to be
about college first, lacrosse second. Players need to
ask "If I was not playing lacrosse, would I want to be
at this school?" We strive to help you find the right
college, and the right college program, regardless of
whether you want DI, DII, DIII, JUCO or Club. We
advocate for you!
I hope that you will consider joining IAS Select!
