CLUB CODE OF ETHICS

     IAS is the only club, so far as known, to post a Club Code of Ethics.

1.      IAS Select will not knowingly recruit a player who is already a member of another member club team;

2.      If IAS Select is contacted by a player who is playing on, or has played on, a different club, IAS will contact that club’s organizer / coach to find out:

a.      If the player is actually currently playing with that club;

b.      If there are particular circumstances leading to that player leaving;

c.       If that organizer / coach will release that player to participate in another club program;

3.      IAS Select will not disparage, or attempt to discredit another club team or coach in front of colleagues, players, or parents. 

4.      IAS Select may set up collaborations where a player from IAS Select may participate in an event with another club;

a.      Both club coaches or organizers need to agree and no player may be contacted directly by a different club coach / organizer unless that player’s coach agrees;

b.      Players who attend an event with another club team do so as a “guest” and are not to be recruited or offered a permanent spot on that team;

IAS strives to uphold the highest standards possible.  Currently, there is not a club Code of Ethics, but IAS Select feels that it is important to state the ethical boundaries of its club program.
